1 Week Old

Yesterday Luke turned one week old. We love him very much and are excited to learn about his personality. He definitely likes to eat, doesn't mind being wet or poopy, quiets down when you talk to him, and loves to sleep! He is such a joy, and we love having him in our home. We have been very blessed to have tons of help with Luke. My sister, Kristin, is here for seven weeks doing an internship, Darrin's parents have been here for the last week, and my mom comes next week. I'm trying to rest up and mentally get ready to handle 3 kids on my own. Last night we took all three kids on our first outing to Target. They were all really good and caused us no problems at all. For a treat they got a Frosty from Wendy's. Luke is sleeping fairly well at night...he wakes up 2-3 times, but he usually goes right back to sleep, so I can't complain at all!Sweet baby!
This is what Luke has to do to get some peace and quiet around here!

More Pictures

The kids finally decided that they wanted to hold Luke. Now they want to hold him all the time! It's so cute to see them interact with him. I think they really like him despite how nervous they were to see him for the first time.

Video of Luke

Luke Thomas Hancock

Here are some pictures of Luke and the fam.

He's Here!!!

This one decided to come out a lot quicker than Andrew much to our joy. Our newest little boy was born at 3:13AM. 8 lbs. 21 inches. Mommy, Daddy, and baby are all very tired and want to sleep. He has already had his first bath and has made some footprints and got a few shots too. I think we'll keep him.

We're at the Hospital

Kim went into labor around 5PM I believe. We left for the hospital after dinner and have been hanging out trying to help Kim progress. She is about 5 cm and will probably have the baby before morning. We are getting excited. The new little buddy is almost here.

Kim is doing fine now and trying to take a nap before the real labor begins.

The waiting game...

Well, this week marks number 39. I'm so ready to be done...Last time I went to the doctor I was 3cm and 60%...so that's good. This part of pregnancy is the worst...maybe worse than morning sickness. But I promise not to complain anymore about it...at least on the blog.=)
