5 1/2 Weeks
Luke is almost 6 weeks old and growing so quickly. I thought for my personal record (and for anyone else that is interested=)) I would document the things that Luke is doing and a little about his personality.
-Luke is a pretty predictable baby, which I love! He is awake all morning, takes a nap from 12-4, eating in there once, and then goes back to sleep. He's usually pretty awake in the evenings and then goes to sleep about 9. I feed him one more time about 11 or 11:30pm, and then he sleeps until 3 or 4am and then again at about 7am. I can usually get him to go back to sleep until 8 or 9am.
-Luke loves his swing. We just had to invest in a new one, because our other one quit working. Our other kids never really liked to swing, but Luke does!
-Luke is a pretty light sleeper and will wake up to the smallest noise...not a good quality for the 3rd child.
-When Luke gets hungry he will wink one eye and open his mouth. We call him the hungry pirate. He eats every 2 hours on the dot during the day, and rarely sleeps though a feeding in the daytime.
-Luke likes to be swaddled at night in our special miracle blanket.
-Luke doesn't mind taking baths, but hates getting out and being cold.
-Luke for the most part is a very content baby. He, of course, likes to be held when he's awake and preferably by his mommy!

How Kim Fell in Love with Darrin
When Kim and I were just starting to get to know each other, there was a ward talent show way back when that won Kim's heart, and she knew that this was true love.
Check it out. I did all of the choreographing myself. I'm in the red pants in case you can't tell. You can hire the group at parties for an affordable price.

Updates
Hello!! We are still alive!! Sorry, the blog has not been a top priority for me. You know when your newborn goes to sleep and you're not sure if you'll have 15 minutes or 2 hours until he wakes up? Well, when he's sleeping I've been trying to play with Josh and Andrew, make dinner, or do laundry...you know pressing things....the blog just isn't one of those. But now that we are getting into a routine, hopefully it will become a priority again!
Three kids has been fun! The older boys have adjusted quite nicely to baby Luke. They are always the first to inform me that he's awake or crying. Andrew especially loves holding him and giving him kisses. We've gone on two outings by ourselves: one to the peds office and the other to Fred Meyer...both times the kids were angels and did wonderful!...3 kids MIGHT be easier then I thought...we shall see!! Anyway, enjoy the pics of our growing Luke. (At the doctor a week ago he was 10 lbs 5 oz.)
