a garden, 3rd birthday, and shakes

6/23—Pics of our garden!  It’s been so much fun this year to grow so many things.  Darrin took some great pics as things were starting to grow.

6/24—Ella’s 3rd birthday!

Ella really wanted pink doughnuts for breakfast, so I got up early to see if the doughnut shop had any.  Luckily they did!  Whew!

After breakfast, she got right down to business opening presents!

Later that afternoon we tried out the slip n slide.  It was pretty fun!

She helped me make her cupcakes and licked the beaters clean!

When they were done, we put the cupcakes together to make an ice cream cone!

Hopefully Ella had a great birthday!  I can’t believe my baby girl is 3 years old.  She’s sweet and sassy, but we love her!  She adores “her boys” and loves to play whatever they are playing.  She loves books and puzzles and playing with friends.  She calls peanut butter pinkabutter and polka dots polka nuts.  She loves nursery as long as Sis. Fletcher is there and is constantly singing especially the songs from Daniel Tigers Neighborhood.

We love this girl and are grateful she’s in our family!

6/27—Shake time!  One thing our kids love to have after dinner is shakes.  We get out the ice cream, fruit, peanut butter, chocolate syrup and whatever else we can think of and go to town creating flavors.  This particular night Ella was helping dad do the mixing!  They were having a blast.  I love her adoring look in this picture.
