6/2—Andrew did the egg drop experiment at school and this was his ETV (egg transportation vehicle).  His egg did not break!

6/3—Company started arriving for Luke’s baptism!  We hung out at Mike and Tanya’s house waiting for Grandma and Grandpa Hancock to come.  They where super delayed because of a train fire that closed the freeway. Luckily we got to see them for a minute before we had to run to the airport and pick up Grandma and Grandpa Morris.

Ella and Raegan had fun playing with play dough together.

6/16—6th grade graduation and the last day of school.

This was a crazy day that lead to us being late, missing Josh receive his certificate, forgetting to bring his clothes to change into after the ceremony, leaving in the middle to go get them, and then returning just as the program was ending.  I had a lot of mom guilt for the day, but hopefully Josh isn’t too scarred.  We are proud of him and excited to watch him grow up and move on to middle school.

In January Andrew and Josh started attending running club.  They tracked their miles over the 6 months and received awards for how far they had gone.  At Nike they celebrated their accomplishments and ran a 1 mile fun-run.

Last day of preschool and Aunt Kristin’s visit

5/26—One of Ella’s favorite things to do is pick strawberries.  And her other favorite thing to do is eat them all by herself!  I caught her in the strawberry patch while I was inside.

Last time ever packing up preschool.  After teaching this same curriculum with all my kids, I couldn’t help but be a little sad that this phase of my life is over.  I have so many great memories of teaching so many kids over the years.  Ella’s excited to go to a big girl preschool away from the house.

We had a “fun day” at preschool with lots of favorite activities for the girls to do.

5/27—Kristin and I were able to be chaperones for Luke’s field trip to the zoo.  The weather was very rainy at first, but then cleared up just long enough for us to finish the field trip.  It definitely wore us out, but it was fun to chaperone together!
