5/26—One of Ella’s favorite things to do is pick strawberries. And her other favorite thing to do is eat them all by herself! I caught her in the strawberry patch while I was inside.
Last time ever packing up preschool. After teaching this same curriculum with all my kids, I couldn’t help but be a little sad that this phase of my life is over. I have so many great memories of teaching so many kids over the years. Ella’s excited to go to a big girl preschool away from the house.
We had a “fun day” at preschool with lots of favorite activities for the girls to do.
And then we couldn’t end the year without a group picture!
Aunt Kristin came to visit!! We enjoyed playing outside, riding scooters and shooting baskets after the boys got home from school.
Later that night we had Andrew’s soccer party! It was similar to Josh’s, but no one fell in the water. lol.
5/27—Kristin and I were able to be chaperones for Luke’s field trip to the zoo. The weather was very rainy at first, but then cleared up just long enough for us to finish the field trip. It definitely wore us out, but it was fun to chaperone together!
5/28—Kristin, Josh and I ran a 5K! I reached a PR I never thought I’d reach.
Josh did amazing and got 2nd in his age group which says a lot because he was at the younger end of the age group!
We watched a lot of OKC Thunder basketball while Kristin was here! Go Thunder!
Later in the afternoon, Kristin and I took the boys to see The Jungle Book. I actually really, really liked the movie.
5/29--We played games at Chad and Julie’s house.
The Great Dalmuti is always a favorite. Darrin was obviously made about something in this picture. lol.
5/30—We went disc golfing in the forest. It was a crazy trying to throw the discs through the trees, but it made it fun. We did 18 holes and that was a little too many for most of these people.
After a while the kids stopping throwing discs and hunted for sticks instead.
We ended with a picnic lunch. We had a blast and it should definitely become a tradition.
5/31—Strawberries from the garden! YUM!
We finally got a Chick-fill-a close to our house. Kristin took us there the day before she left and showed us the ropes.
We are glad Aunt Kristin came to visit!! It’s always a great time full of memories!
