6/2—Andrew did the egg drop experiment at school and this was his ETV (egg transportation vehicle). His egg did not break!
6/3—Company started arriving for Luke’s baptism! We hung out at Mike and Tanya’s house waiting for Grandma and Grandpa Hancock to come. They where super delayed because of a train fire that closed the freeway. Luckily we got to see them for a minute before we had to run to the airport and pick up Grandma and Grandpa Morris.
Ella and Raegan had fun playing with play dough together.
6/4—Luke had his last soccer game of the season.
We had treats and the coach gave out trophies after the game!
Then it was time for Luke to become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was excited!
Luke got baptized with his friend, Cameron, and a couple other kids. It was at 4pm. Grandma Hancock led the music and Grandma Morris gave the talk on baptism. It was very special!
Lots of family came to support him.
We are proud of you, Luke!!
All the family came over after for a BBQ to celebrate and be together. It was a great day!!
6/6—Grandma and Grandpa Morris stayed a couple days after the baptism. Ella enjoyed playing this game with them. We were sad to see them go, but always enjoy having them.
6/7--Grandma and Grandpa Hancock stayed longer for Trevor’s graduation, so we got to see a lot more of them. One day we met them for lunch. Raegan came too!
6/8—Josh loves any audience to show off his Rubik cube skills!! And you can tell, Grandma was AMAZED.
Shooting hoops with Grandpa!
6/10—Luke received the citizenship award at the end of the year!
6/11—I needed a few things from the store, so I decided to enjoy the beautiful weather and run there with a backpack on to carry all the stuff. Let me just say, it’s hard to run with a back pack on. lol.
Later that night we had one last game night with the Moss’s and the Bernier’s before Amy and Jeff moved. We played an all time favorite: Acquire.
6/15—I took Ella and Katie to an indoor play place and then to McDonald’s for lunch. These two are going to miss each other when Katie moves.
6/16—6th grade graduation and the last day of school.
This was a crazy day that lead to us being late, missing Josh receive his certificate, forgetting to bring his clothes to change into after the ceremony, leaving in the middle to go get them, and then returning just as the program was ending. I had a lot of mom guilt for the day, but hopefully Josh isn’t too scarred. We are proud of him and excited to watch him grow up and move on to middle school.
Yay!!! The last day of school!!!! Best. day. ever.
Later that day we went back to the school to get on a bus and attend the end of the year celebration for Marathon Kids at Nike’s campus. The whole family was invited and Ella was soooo excited to ride a school bus.
In January Andrew and Josh started attending running club. They tracked their miles over the 6 months and received awards for how far they had gone. At Nike they celebrated their accomplishments and ran a 1 mile fun-run.
Even Ella got to participate.
Josh got recognized for running 4 marathons (113 miles to be exact). Andrew ran 81 miles.
Ella enjoyed running in the fun-run and lots of people cheered her on. She was one of the youngest kids running.
They fed us a yummy BBQ dinner afterwards!
Brothers.
6/22—We bought Ella a bike for her birthday. She got to have it early because we went camping for the weekend of her birthday. She is a pretty big girl!!!
