Father's and Sons

This past weekend was the father's and sons outing. Instead of the normal overnight campout, our ward decided just to do an evening BBQ at a ward member's house. They live way out in the country and have lots to do on their property. The kids and Darrin had a blast! I was a little worried about their safety as the mother never knows what goes on. I gave them both lectures about staying by daddy and dressed them orange shirts so they'd be easy to find. I'm a nerd, I know! Anyway~I enjoyed lots of time to myself. I cleaned the entire house and got take out for dinner. I think Darrin was a little disappointed that I didn't do anything fun, but I had a blast! I think these events should happen once a month!
