Last Friday night was our ward camp out at Cape Lookout State Park. The campground is about a five minute walk away from the ocean! It was sooooo fun! We arrived at our camp site about 4pm after an hour and a half drive to the coast. We set up camp and made tin foil dinners. They were YUMMMMMY! Darrin did a great job cooking them! We had fun hanging out with our friends that night....the kids actually went to bed pretty easy for us. Josh was especially excited to slept in the tent! Everyone slept pretty well aside from the fact that it was freezing cold. Hopefully the kids were warm enough. It was really weird though to lay in bed and hear the ocean. It kinda freaked me out! We woke up that morning to a wonderful breakfast provided by the ward. After breaking camp we walked to the beach and played in the sand for awhile. The weather was BEAUTIFUL...no wind, full sun, and 70 degrees! Josh was scared of the water and preferred staying way back, but other than that everyone enjoyed themselves!
