Last Saturday was the ward talent show.
Josh told some jokes.
He was very brave, spoke clearly into the microphone, and remembered them all without any help.
We were very proud of him.
Here is his material:
What do you call a cow with a twitch??
Beef Jerky.
What is blue and smells just like red paint?
Blue Paint.
What kind of key doesn't open a door?
A monkey.
Why do you put candles on the top of a birthday cake?
Because you can't put them on the bottom.
P.S. I would have pictures, but our camera randomly stopped working.
So sadly I don't have any.

He did SOOO great. I was very impressed. The next day Evan tried out the birthday cake one (because it was Maren's birthday and lots of family were over) on my mom. She figured she didn't have it right when she said, "because you can't put them on the bottom." Evan was CRUSHED and started to cry because she had ruined his (Josh's) joke!! :-) I just LOVE that Evan was listening, though, while Josh was doing his jokes. He loved them!
I would have loved to see video of that. He is such a good performer!
Too bad about the camera. Maybe Cupid will bring a new one?
that is so awesome! i would never have done that when i was a kid.
i loved the 'clean up no!' note. ha!
