The Race

Last Saturday I ran a 5K.

I know, I know…Kim ran a 5K?  Anyone that really knows me is shocked right now.

I had two goals in mind when I decided to run it.

1.  Finish.

2.  Run the whole time…no matter how slow.

I did accomplish my goals, so I felt good about that!

My time was 36:02.  Pretty slow, I know.  But I did finish.  In 355th place to be exact.

Good for you! If you want to feel better about your time run with me next time. I'm not a runner so I am impressed.

Wow! Congrats to you! Way to make goals and go for them. I've only done a 5K once, years and years ago...I wonder if I'd ever be able to do it again.

And by the way how many "jamie's" do you know??? Just remember I was the first... :)
