Josh

Team name:  Fire Breathing Rubber Duckies

Coach: Dad and assistant Coach Donny

Teammates: Carson, Henry, Jeven, Braxton M, Aiden, Abdiel, Zach, Braxton R, Joaquin

Team Party: Out of this World Pizza

Interesting Facts:  Josh scored at least one goal in every game except one.  He played goalie when his dad made him, but he preferred to play mid-field.

Andrew

Team name: Wizards

Coach:  Dad

Teammates: Carter, Adam, Joshua, Jesus, and Gabe.

Team Party: Burgerville

Interesting Fact:  Andrew is a very mature player who led his team to lots of victories.  He’s a humble guy who doesn’t get too high on himself and when he scores a goal doesn’t give much reaction except maybe a little smile.

It was much harder to do soccer with a newborn than I anticipated.  The weather was probably the biggest factor.  Trying to hold a newborn in one hand and an umbrella in the other was tricky especially in the wind.  There were some early morning games we had to miss because- who can get a family of 6 out the door by 7:30am?  And it can be cold that early in the morning!  When we did go, Ella looked like this!  She was a pretty good sport for the most part!
