Well, it's been a while since I posted anything, so I thought I'd give you the run down of what's been happening here.
I'm still pregnant. This week marks week #37.
I'm still pregnant. This week marks week #37. Last week I went to the doctor and found out three things.
1. Baby is still head down.
2. I was dilated to a 1...but since yesterday I've been having tons of contractions...nothing regular though.
3. Because I had Josh via c-section, and I'm going to attempt VBAC #2, I have to go into labor by myself, and my doctor won't let me go very far past my due date. So we set up a c-section date for May 16 at 2pm. If I haven't gone into labor by then, I'm out of luck. It's all to prevent uterine rupture...which I guess is important.
3 other things which I know
1. We have NO idea what this baby's name is going to be.
2. I love and crave Rolo's and the Round Table Pizza buffet.
3. I can't get enough of Josh and Andrew talking to or kissing the baby through my tummy.
April 9th was a very sad day at our house...we donated the Geo to Goodwill. Darrin stayed up the night before cleaning the car out and reminiscing about old times. I suggested he sleep in the car that night to make one last memory, but he didn't seem to like my idea. He had lots of fun with that car, and it's been missed (by Darrin) ever since we got rid of it.
Darrin's been doing a great job at keeping our lawn looking immaculate. He's the only person I know that aerates his lawn on a regular basis. Here he is giving the new aerator a try!
Josh's newest development is in the nutrition category. Josh liked veggies as a baby, but in the past two and a half years, we've had a hard time getting him to eat any. Well, I'm proud to say in the last week he's tried corn, broccoli, green beans, and carrots. He still doesn't fully appreciate them, but at least he tries now!!
Andrew is a "binky free" boy now. He survived the detoxification process and is doing great. Although when the binky went out the window so did the naps, but oh well. Maybe he'll get back into them...or maybe not. We are also getting ready to make another big step in Andrew's life...move him to a bed. We'll let you know this week how that goes=).
Lastly, we are SICK of the rain and cold here. We are ready for spring. The average high in Portland this time of year is 63 degrees. Saturday it snowed. I was NOT happy.

you are super cute! Love the belly, and you look FABULOUS for being so close to the end!! Hooray for Andrew and the binky detox :-) I think the picture of Darrin aerating the lawn is HILARIOUS!! It's cute that he takes such good care of his little lawn!! I know Zach would be the SAME way, especially since he used to work for a landscaping business! Boys are so funny.... :-)
Loved your post! Couple of comments on it all. I hope so much for you that you go into labor before the scheduled date. I would give anything to go back to the days of us girls going to Round Table Pizza buffets for lunch!! I miss that. Darrin looking depressed by the Geo is hilarious!! Your boys are so dang cute. And I wish Rob would get into doing yard work like Darrin!! I always said I would never learn how to run the lawnmower (I'm spoiled!) because that's a job that Rob can do and always know that's his job around here....but I swear there are times that I'm ready to just break down and do it myself! He does the minimal and he complains the entire time so I'm starting to feel it might be better to just do it myself. (Sorry to go off on that!)

Kim, you look so cute! I hope you go into labor soon on your own, so you can avoid the c-section. I still have half a box of raspberry leaf tea left over and I swear that is what put me into labor, so if you want it, let me know!
Good to see ya'll are doing well. It's been on and off cold here too. I will be glad when spring is here to stay. Wishing you the best of luck next month with baby #3. Hopefully, all will go smooth!

I have never seen anyone aerate by hand.....what a patient guy!
Good luck. VBAC #2 is much easier!!! But try not to let them induce you or have a c-section if you can possibly help it. Good luck!
