For the last couple of months we’ve seen evidence of a mouse or mice in our garage.
Darrin finally got serious about catching him/them.
We tried cheese and peanut butter.
The first night the cheese disappeared but nothing in the trap.
Then the peanut butter started to disappear. Still nothing.
Ugg!
Either smart mice or cheap trap.
A couple days later, we caught one. It was REALLY gross.
I thought it would be cute, and I would feel sorry for it, but I didn’t.
In the mean time, Darrin bought the boys these cute little mice from IKEA.
Every time I see one I jump. They remind me of the mouse in the trap.
We caught one other mouse since the first one. It was gross too.
Aren’t you glad I didn’t take pictures of the trap with the mouse in it??
Ewww.
It’s been about a month since we’ve caught anything, and the peanut butter is not disappearing.
So I think they are gone for now.

Eeww!! I hate mice! We had one in our house. We came home from a weekend trip and found a dead one on our basement step! I almost stepped on it and then scared Ryan by screaming when she pointed it out to me! Ha! Ha!! (I couldn't help it!) Then Rob saw one twice running from the pantry to the oven! So gross! I felt so invaded that something was in my kitchen! I only hoped there weren't a lot. I hadn't and couldn't find any other evidence of mice! A pest control guy put traps around the house and we never saw one after that...until I was cleaning my kitchen floor (On my hands and knees!) and found a totally dried up dead mouse squished by my dishwasher! Yes, it had been there awhile! Which is quite embarrassing to say because it had been a while since I had cleaned my floor! And disgusting that that mouse had been at my feet for quite awhile!!
Oh rats!!! hehehe
Also try raisins!
gross! i hope we don't ever get the same problem!
Those mice outsmarted Darrin? They must have been from AMD! :) You should get the T-Rex, like what they use on that show 'Verminators'.
