Routine

Well when I said in the last post that “routine is nice.”

I actually meant routine will be nice.

For the week surrounding the first day of school, Darrin’s parents were in town.

Two days after they left, our very good friends Brad and Angela came into town and stayed for 5 days.  We partied hard.

So hard that Friday (the day after they left), I got strep throat.

Now, I’ve had strep before, but this time i. was. sick.

Fever of 102, chills, aches, sore throat, etc…

I don’t remember ever being that sick.  I could barely drive myself to the doctor.

And a big thank you to my visiting teacher who picked up my prescription for me Friday night while Darrin was speaking at the temple, and I was too sick to drag three kids to the store.  u r awesome.

Well, today I finally started feeling better.  I picked up the entire house with the mindset that the maid is coming tomorrow.

haha.  I wish.

But the house is all ready for a good deep cleaning by someone.  probably me. tomorrow.

Today was routine.  And it was nice.

In other news Andrew started Kindergarten on the 8th of September.

On his 4th day of school he got off the bus and said, “Mom, I don’t want to do this anymore.”

It’s the 4th day and already he’s sick of waking up at 6:45am, leaving for school at 7:30, learning, and then coming home at 10:50am EVERYDAY.

Sorry bud, you got lots more years of school.  Better get used to it Smile

I'm so sorry you've been so sick! How awful! This has been a rough year for you. 2012 can't come soon enough for you. *HUGS*
