Not much has been happening lately. But I think we’re just gearing up for a busy spring with Josh’s 8th b-day, baptism, family in town, spring break, and spring soccer starting!! Whew! I better get lots of sleep now!
Anyway, I thought I’d better blog about the latest happenings before I forget :) Enjoy!
On Valentine's Day this year we carried the traditions we started last year; Darrin made dinner, and we had fondue for dessert! It was a great day!
On Feb. 16th Luke had a preschool field trip at the police station. We talked with a real policeman, had the opportunity to sit in a police car (which neither Andrew or Luke did), and see the holding cells where the bad guys “take a timeout.” It was a great time!
Feb. 28 was the 100th day of school for Andrew’s kindergarten class. Andrew’s teacher planned lots of fun activities, so I went and helped out for the day!
On March 3 (yesterday) Josh had his spring piano recital. He played Rustic Dance which is a song that is played about 100 times a day at our house. I love that he loves to play the piano, but would also love it if he learned a new song :) He did a great job, though, and, we were proud of him!
Well like I said, nothing too exciting! But that’s okay with me :) We’re having lots of fun treasuring the small stuff!
