February in a nutshell.

2/1—Helping mom make cookies!  Eating the dough is the best part.

2/3—Preschool!  We talked about the letter Q.  We read books in a quilt, made queen crowns and painted a quilt with Q-tips.  Love our little group!

2/9—Looking cute after FHE.

IMG_9132 2/13—Josh’s class has been reviewing long division, and he learned this crazy way of doing it.  I love how they are learning different ways of thinking.

Silly Ella at the park!  Love her big personality!

We took the kids to the feeder night high school basketball game.  They all got in for free and got a free hot dog and soda.  Our team got killed, but we had fun!  Josh picked up a few new moves that he perfected the next day at home.

2/14—We went over to the Smith’s for some Valentine’s day fun.  I didn’t take any pictures, but we had a super yummy dinner and dessert and then played a fitting game of Love Letters.  It was a great night with great friends!

2/15—We had our annual fondue in celebration of Valentine’s day.  This time it was even better because we shared it with cousins!  The pound cake was the most popular and disappeared in about 2.3 minutes.

Since it was close to Chad’s birthday, we had to play all the games that he wanted to play: Acquire, Agricola, and St. Petersburg—none of which are my favorite.  But we (Julie and I) are nice and them 2x a year: Chad and Darrin’s b-days.  Darrin won Acquire and insisted that his name go in the box.  He was so proud.

2/17—The weather was fantastic (and has continued to be so)!  We had the moon roof open enjoying the blue sky!  There’s nothing better!

well…one person thought it was too sunny.  lol

2/18—Blue and Gold Banquet pack meeting!  We all brought games and snacks and just played.  It was super fun and laid back.

2/20—My mom and dad came into town!  We watched Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day that night as a family.  It was a cute movie!

2/21—We took them to the beach, Cape Meares, and the cheese factory.  The weather was great, and we couldn’t have asked for better especially in February!  Darrin was there, but took it easy because of his knee.  Hence the reason he’s not pictured :)

We took them through the tunnel to the other side of the beach.

Peek-a-boo Andrew!

And finally dinner and dessert!  It was a great trip to the coast!

The boys soaked up time with Grandpa playing all kinds of things.  Basketball and board games were their favorites!

2/23—Grandpa left to go back to work.  Grandma stayed until the next Friday (2/27).  We just mostly hung out, went to lunch, shopped, and chatted lots.  It was a great week.

2/27—To top off the month, Luke lost his other front tooth!
