pumpkin patch, nerds and primary program

10/15—Ella had another preschool field trip.  This time it was to the pumpkin patch.  We’d never been to this one before, but they had a lot of fun stuff for the preschool crowd.  We brought Abby with us because her mom wasn’t feeling good.

We all brought a picnic lunch and ate by the playground.  Afterwards, we rode on a fun hay ride to the pumpkin patch.  This place is also a Christmas tree farm so the hayride took you through all the Christmas trees.  It was really cool!

The pumpkin patch was a little disappointing: just a field with pumpkins set all over the place.  I like going to the real patch where the pumpkins actually grow, but oh well! It was a perfect place for these girls!

I love this spot in our neighborhood here the leaves cover the sidewalk in the fall!  They are so fun to kick and crunch!  I’m so grateful this year for the change of the seasons.  Each one brings fun and exciting things to go along with it.  Wouldn’t life be so boring if things never changed?

10/16—Cousin time!  Jason has been collecting boxes of Nerds for the last several years.  The kids got the idea to open all the boxes and dump them in this bowl.  Then they proceeded to eat them by the spoonful.  Bleh.

10/25—We had our primary program!  Josh said a part and Andrew and Luke sang songs with their classes.  Ella got to sit with Daddy while I played the piano.  The kids did great and the spirit was strong.

We were able to invite 2 families to come watch.  Hopefully they enjoyed it.  We enjoyed sharing our testimonies with them.

Guys!  It’s a small miracle!!  I’m almost done catching up.  This has been a burden on my shoulders for months!

You are an inspiration! I am way behind on my blog and it's been weighing on my shoulders for months too. I just may have to pull a catch-up month like you! Way to go, Kim!
