Friday the 13th w/ story

This little boys smile used to look like this....

until
Friday the 13th

So on the morning of Friday the 13th we got up and headed over to our friend's house for a Valentine's party. We had our Valentine's cards in tow and were ready to let our friends know they were Awesome by giving them a tattoo with their card. The party was just about over; we'd decorated bags and cookies and mingled with new friends and old. Andrew decided that he was going to carry a humongous fire truck down the stairs without any help. On the second to last stair, he tripped and fell face forward onto the bottom step landing on the fire truck. His teeth and chin bashed into the truck and blood started spewing everywhere. I looked in his mouth to see that his one front tooth and the one next to it were not the same spots as they were. We came home for a little bit and then headed straight to the dentist. They didn't do anything, with the hopes that they would move back on their own, but said since his teeth went up into his gums, they would most likely abscess, and he'd have to pull them out. Hopefully that won't happen. Andrew is handling everything okay. He often complains that his chin hurts, but says his teeth feel good. I have a feeling it's really his teeth that hurt, he just thinks it's his chin because that's the wound he can see. I'm usually not a superstitious person, but Friday I definitely was!

Ohhhh, poor Andrew!
So it looks like "only" one tooth is in danger? When we talked I mistakenly thought it was at least two.
Looks like a good time for frozen treats!

Bummer! I hope it heals fast for you guys. I am also glad to read that potty training is going so well. Not so much in our house but no worries. I'm glad I finally found your blog!

That's so sad! The poor guy. Glad he's being a trooper. I hope they won't have to pull the teeth and cause even more trauma! Yikes!
