nothing gets done.
It’s been so long since I’ve had a sick baby…in Luke’s 9 months of life, he’s never really been sick, and Andrew was a baby so long ago...that I’ve forgotten how hard it is.
The little guy is so sick. He’s not sleeping or eating. He has a constant running nose and terrible cough. He’s had a fever off and on.
The only thing that will make him happy is to take a bath. So we’ve given him lots of baths.
We took him to the doctor yesterday, and she tested him for RSV.
He has it.
The virus hasn’t spread to his chest yet, and we’re hoping that it doesn’t, because it could get ugly.
Since everything we do right now is an attempt to help Luke feel better, none of the housework is getting done. Dishes, picking up toys, laundry, or cooking just does not make him feel better for some reason.
And that frustrates me.
I just need to chill, I guess, and cuddle my sweet babe.

Oh I am so so so sorry. He looks so sad! I hope he feels better soon, and yes, do enjoy snuggling him if it makes him feel better! I'll come do some dishes for you while you cuddle Luke :-) seriously!
You made Grandma cry!
Wish I was closer to help.
Cuddle him and soon all will be well.
Poor baby! Poor parents!
You are in our prayers.
Just enjoy the BIG EXCUSE to do nothing all day long! Enjoy it for all it is worth.
