In the last month or so, Josh has been very aware of monsters and their presence in our home.
I asked him to take me on a tour and show me some of the monsters.
Let me show you what he showed me.
And these are just the downstairs ones.
Anything that is round is a monster as well as things that look like they have 2 eyes and a mouth.
The poor kid is scared to go upstairs by himself and has trouble falling asleep.
He stands to the side of the toilet when he goes #1 so he can keep an eye on the monsters in the bathroom.
And don’t try to tell him that they aren’t real.
He won’t believe you.

The poor guy! Xander went through a phase of nightmares awhile back so we gave him a flashlight. It helped quite a bit at night. Hopefully Josh will grow out of this one quickly!
Oh, how sad! Poor Josh!
It takes a special eye to find the monsters. Good thing you have a monster detective at your house.
I wonder if all 1st kids are experts at monster finding... Ours definitely had (has!) an acute awareness for scary things.
