This past week was our real spring break! Between last week when we went to Mt. Hood and this week it seems like it’s been forever since our kids were in school.
Sickness also has contributed to the eternal spring break. Two weeks ago Luke got a fever and cough that lasted several days. Next Josh got it, and then Andrew. Darrin came down with it a week ago and missed 3 days of work last week. Yesterday morning Luke woke up with another fever and seems to have same fever/cough thing all over again! I have been lucky so far. I always knew I had the strongest immune system in the family. lol. Despite all these fevers, it never really interfered with Josh’s baptism or our family in town. That is a tender mercy I’m grateful for!
Back to spring break. Several weeks ago I decided to sign the kids (J and A) up for soccer camp to give them something to do during the break. It was Tues-Fri 9:30-12:30. Can I just say how much we all enjoyed it!? They thoroughly enjoyed playing soccer and improving their skills (despite the rain), and I enjoyed having them busy doing something productive! We will definitely do it again!

Poor Sick Boys! It sure is a gnarly cold/flu that is going around!! Glad you guys are feeling better and that you and little Miss didn't get sick too!
I have to be thankful we didn't get it while there! It's gone full circle, so hopefully you can be finished with it now?
