July 8th—Boondocks! Always a fun place!
We all ate tons of pizza, salad and soda.
The bigger cousins (including Josh) and some of the uncles played laser tag. We took our kids a few years ago to play, and they hated it. Josh likes it now; Andrew and Luke are still scarred.
I’m pretty sure we played at least 3 games of miniature golf. Ella was a fan.
We bowled and watched the World Cup at the same time. It was the Brazil game where they got creamed. Darrin was super bugged.
We all went go-carting lots: sometimes with mom…
other times with cousins.
And some of us were big enough to go by ourselves :)
And others of us were super worn out by the end of the day. lol.
July 9th—Lagoon Day! The highlight of the family reunion for my kids. We all had our reunion t-shirts on, so we were easy to spot. They had our “family numbers” on the back. Darrin and I were 7.0, Josh 7.1, Andrew 7.2, Luke 7.3, and Ella 7.4
First ride of the day: The Bat.
I just realized that most of the pictures I took are of Ella. She was my buddy the whole day. The boys were either off with Darrin or cousins. Luke did help Ella get used to the kiddie rides by going with her on a few.
Train ride. Luke was h.o.t.
Most of the afternoon Ella and I hung out at the pavilion. She colored,
ate otter pops,
hung out with grandma,
grandpa,
and mom!
Our family in green.
Our numbers.
After dinner we all went on the same rides.
All green and John on the Tidal Wave.
Uncle Jared won this frog and Ella LOVED carrying it around. It matched our shirts.
All green on the train and
on the bumper cars.
It was a great day and fun was had by all.
