Ella has learned how to ride her pooh car. She’s been getting off and on it for about a month or so, but now she’s figured out how to move forward. She thinks she’s pretty hot stuff.
I just bought these pillows from Costco the other day, and I’m a huge fan. I prefer firmer pillows and these are perfect!
My most favorite thing in the whole world is clean sheets. I can’t wait to get in bed tonight. New pillow and clean sheets-what could be better!?
Luke, Zach and Ethan walking home from the bus.
I decided to take Luke and Zach to the park for a picnic to enjoy the beautiful day. Ella is finally at the point now where sitting in the stroller at the park is not okay with her. She was to get out and climb all over the playground too. More work for mama but more fun for baby.
Picnic time!
Then we went on a walk to find the biggest leaves we could find. We stopped to see the pond along the way. Both boys ended up with at least one wet shoe by the time we left.
The rest of the afternoon was spent looking at and trading Pokémon cards. I still haven’t figured out what is so cool about looking at these cards for hours.
Red peppers are still coming out of our ears from our garden. Note to self: Only plant one pepper plant next year.
Josh’s friend, Tyler, came over to our park to play for a bit. These boys always have lots of fun together. They are such goof balls.
And, of course, we couldn’t have an afternoon without Ethan, Bennett, and Hudson coming to the park too. Ella liked sharing her crackers with Hudson.
The older boys had soccer practice. Darrin mixed it up with Andrew’s practice and had them play using an exercise ball. Andrew said it wasn’t that fun, but I don’t’ really believe that.
I made turkey burgers for dinner.
And, are you sitting down?? I grilled them all by myself. I’ve never ever used the grill before, but I lit it, cleaned it and cooked on it. I did a pretty good job and was quite proud of myself. And I only burned one. lol.
Date night for Darrin and I: Watching our old time favorite. Great flick.
