4th of July Festivities

We had a great 4th of July this year.

On the night of the 3rd we set off fireworks at Grandma and Grandpa’s house.

On the morning of the 4th we woke up and went to the Tooele City parade.  Our kids actually enjoyed the parade and there was no crying over candy.  Andrew sat back and relaxed and said, “I don’t need to get candy…my cousins will just give it to me!”  Smart Andrew. Smart.

After the parade we had our annual picnic.  As always, we had great food and ended with an arousing game of soccer.

We ended the night with the Grantsville fireworks.

Anyone notice anything about Andrew this year as opposed to last year and the year before that??  He’s not covering his ears with every loud noise!  We’ve come along way!!

Happy Birthday USA!!!

And what happened to Josh’s head you keep asking?  Well, in the hotel that first night of our vacation, we slept 3 boys in a queen sized bed.  At about 3am in the morning he fell out of bed and hit the ground head first.  He got tired of everyone asking him what happened so he started saying, “It’s a long story.”
