September 8th--At our house Monday=laundry day. It’s one of my least favorite household duties so I usually try to speed through it and only do it once a week.
Our family Ipod has been missing for about about week so as I was sorting laundry, I was also diligently checking pockets so I wouldn’t end up washing the thing. At the bottom of Luke and Andrew’s laundry basket I found this blue box. It contained: a cordless phone (which we still use…old fashioned, I know), Luke’s wallet, the Ipod, and a half eaten muffin. Darrin and I debated which child collected such things and put them in here…we decided on Ella because of the muffin. And after questioning the boys when they got home, I think we were right :) Silly girl!
Ella and I made a menu and went grocery shopping. It amazes me how much more well behaved she is when she’s the only kid I’ve got with me.
We went to the park after school to enjoy the beautiful weather. Laurie gave Ella a blue sucker which she made a huge mess with!
Her poor little finger. She burned it over a week ago and still insists that we put a band aid on it. She had a huge blister that popped a couple days ago. Now the skin looks very raw and painful.

Andrew and I started reading the BFG’s together before bed.
And this little boy set out 2 bears to watch over him while he slept.
At 11pm the last load of laundry came out of the dryer. It’s folded and put away. Hallelujah!

I was folding laundry at 10:40pm last night! I would've been folding 'til 11, like you, if my last load had actually dried. Our dryer takes FOREVER to dry towels. :-P
